District Designated Funds Grant Information

District Designated Funds (DDF) are those resources held in reserve by The Rotary Foundation for use by our district to fund District Grants, Global Grants, Rotary Peace Fellowships, Humanitarian Study Grants, Vocational Training Teams and other Foundation programs we choose to support.

They are the mechanism by which clubs can tap the Rotary Foundation Annual Fund for community projects and beyond.

The District Foundation Committee asks you to follow this process to help us be more efficient for the clubs and the district.

  • For 2025-26, the Early Bird date is May 31st, 2025; grants submitted by then will have a higher priority than grants submitted later.  The first funding grant deadline is August 31st, 2025.
  • Grants must be submitted within one month PRIOR TO the beginning date of the project.  Grants submitted after the project has begun will not be considered per RI grant rules.
  • Once you submit the grant, if you have not heard from the grant sub-committee chair – Ryder Taff – within two weeks, please contact him at rtaff@newpaper.com or 601-991-3158.
  • Final reports are due back within 30 days of the completion of the project.
