The Rotary Club of Lexington hit the ground running this year with a creative legacy project in their community – a “Little Free Library” book exchange booth.
The concept made popular by LittleFreeLibrary.org is now available in over 91 countries. The book exchange booth is not only available to the public 24/7 but it is self sustaining and will likely be there to serve the Lexington community for generations to come.
Pictured are Lexington Club Rotarians Sterling Aldridge, Phil Williamson, PDF Ed Thurmond and Fran Thurmond who completed the booth installation and stocked it full of books. Thanks Lexington Club – way to go !!!
